SHARE holds spring memorial service
Blessing Hospital's SHARE Support Group holds an annual spring Memorial Service on the first Sunday after Easter at 1 p.m. in the Greenmount Cemetery, 1701 South 12th, in Quincy. Parents, grandparents other family and friends are invited to gather at the SHARE Children's Memorial located on the northwest side of the cemetery. After a short service, those in attendance can release a balloon in honor of their child. White balloons will be available and cards will be provided for those who want to attach a message to their balloon.
SHARE Children's Memorial
Dedicated in 1998, the SHARE Children's Memorial in Greenmount Cemetery is a tribute to all children who have passed away. The memorial is a place of solace, remembrance and comfort especially for those families without a gravestone to mark the life of a child they miss.
