Hundreds of thousands of volunteers in more than 1,000 local NAMI affiliates and fifty state organizations work to achieve equitable services and treatment for those with mental illness. Local affiliates and state organizations work on issues most important to their community and state to improve the quality of life for persons with mental illness and their families.
Blessing Hospital's Behavioral Health Services, Transitions of Western Illinois and the Illinois Division of Rehabilitation Services cosponsor this self-help support and advocacy organization for behavioral health consumers, their families and friends of people with mental illness.
